100% Conservative Record
Wendi earned one of Oklahoma's strongest conservative lifetime ratings and built a reputation for voting the same way she campaigned.
Republican For House District 11
Wendi Stearman is running on June 16, 2026 to restore principled representation to House District 11, reject Oklahoma City insider influence, and fight for families who want the Constitution represented the same way it was promised.
A mother of six with a proven conservative record, a pro-life voting history, and a family legacy shaped by military service and aviation, Wendi is running to serve the district instead of the lobbyist class.
Why Wendi
The campaign materials tell a simple story: Wendi has already fought on life, liberty, parental rights, and clean government. This race is about sending House District 11 a representative who will keep doing it without selling out to lobbyists.
Wendi earned one of Oklahoma's strongest conservative lifetime ratings and built a reputation for voting the same way she campaigned.
She is pledging to reject gifts and campaign contributions from lobbyists and their employers so her vote stays with the district.
Wendi helped pass the law that shut down abortion procedures in Oklahoma and kept life at the center of her legislative record.
Her campaign is built on personal attention, hard work, and door-to-door conversations, not insider money or Oklahoma City social clubs.
Background
The Stearman name is woven into American aviation history, and Wendi Stearman carries that legacy of service into public life. Her father served as a Marine in Vietnam. Her husband, Tom, is a commercial pilot and Air Force Academy graduate. Together they chose to build their family in the rolling hills of Washington County.
In 2020, Wendi decided that conservative voters were not being represented and did what very few candidates in Oklahoma politics manage to do: she unseated an incumbent. Once elected, she governed the way she campaigned. That consistency earned her recognition as one of the House's most conservative members.
Wendi was one of only two Oklahoma legislators to earn a 100% lifetime rating from The Oklahoma Constitution conservative benchmark publication since 1979. She also helped pass HB 4327, the landmark pro-life law that halted abortion procedures in Oklahoma and drew a personal rebuke from Kamala Harris.
Family is central to Wendi's politics. As a mother of six, she has fought for parental rights in health and education, introduced legislation to cut ties with the National School Boards Association after it pushed federal action against parents, and backed protections against vaccine mandates.
Wendi says the flow of money in Oklahoma politics explains why some politicians campaign as conservatives and then betray those values once elected. Her answer is simple: no gifts, no lobbyist money, and no pretending the Capitol is a social club.
Campaign Commitment
“Rejecting lobbyist money means getting outspent. Wendi is still choosing the fight.”
The campaign is built on the belief that true representation matters more than maintaining insider relationships, even when the price is being outraised by establishment networks.
Issues
Wendi's priorities begin with the people of House District 11: parents who want a voice, taxpayers who expect honesty, families who want to be left free, and voters who deserve a representative who will fight for them instead of the political class.
